Edition 2025 — Radici e Sapori
The second edition of Radici e Sapori - Journey through the Agro Romano took place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, opening at 11:00 AM in the exhibition hall adjacent to the auditorium of the Sanctuary of Divino Amore, in Castel di Leva (Rome). Promoted by the Rome IX EUR Municipality, the event featured an inaugural ceremony with local authorities, a guided tour of the photography exhibition dedicated to the Agro Romano, and a live cheesemaking demonstration.
The tastings highlighted the authentic flavors of the Roman countryside: rustic breads and artisanal focaccias, cheeses, extra virgin olive oil produced using ancient methods, traditional sweets, jams, and preserves. The event, with free admission, confirmed the festival's commitment to showcasing the peasant heritage of the Agro Romano in the Lazio region.
