Edition 2025 — Race for the Cure

The 19th edition of the Race for the Cure in Bari was held from May 16 to 18, 2025, in Piazza della Libertà, organized by the Puglia Committee of Susan G. Komen. A pink wave of over twenty thousand people crossed the city on Sunday, May 18, including a 2 km walk, a 5 km run, and a 10 km competitive race, preceded by three days of screenings and free visits at the Health Village.

The nineteenth edition of the Race for the Cure in Bari took place from May 16 to 18, 2025, in Piazza della Libertà. The Health Village, open from Friday the 16th at 3:00 PM, offered mammograms, breast ultrasounds, gynecological and dermatological exams, genetic oncology counseling, spirometry, electrocardiograms, and blood pressure and glucose measurements.

On Sunday, May 18, starting at 10:00 AM, the great pink walk involved over twenty thousand people across the 2 km non-competitive walk, the 5 km run, and the 10 km competitive race, with the Women in Pink in the front row. A successful turnout that confirmed Bari as one of the most heartfelt stages of the Italian Race for the Cure.
