Quisquinese Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Quisquinese Carnival confirmed the vitality of a tradition deeply felt in Santo Stefano Quisquina, in the Sicani Mountains in the Province of Agrigento. That year, the heart of the festival was once again the parade of the allegorical float, built by hand by local groups, which traveled through the historic center amidst music and confetti.

Masks, families, and children enlivened the Carnival days in an atmosphere of shared joy. The event, organized with the support of the Municipality and local associations, reaffirmed the popular and participatory character of the Quisquinese Carnival, an integral part of the calendar of popular traditions in inland Sicily.
