Edition 2025 — Queer Pictures

In the summer of 2025, Queer Pictures brought LGBTQIA+ cinema to the Baths of Caracalla, with free screenings under the stars until August 16th. Each evening combined a talk introduced by Morgana with the screening of an auteur film, turning the viewing into a collective experience and a small political and cultural act in the heart of Rome.

Queer Pictures 2025

The 2025 edition of Queer Pictures took place at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, with free events until August 16th. The introductory talk, moderated by Morgana, started at 9:00 PM, followed by the screening at 9:30 PM.

Among the titles featured were the award-winning Everything Everywhere All At Once, Moonlight, and Blue Jean, dedicated to queer resistance in the eighties. A kaleidoscope of identities and freedom that inaugurated the event, which has since become a recurring fixture in the archaeological setting of Caracalla.
