Quartieri in Scena - Independent Theatre Festival

With its inaugural programme, Quartieri in Scena marked the rebirth of the Teatro della Quattordicesima, a historic venue in Milan's Corvetto district reopened after twelve years. The showcase brought independent theatre companies, from Milan and other Italian cities, to the stage, with performances every Tuesday evening and the involvement of a popular jury of students. The formula, based on reduced prices and quality programming, has restored an important cultural hub to Corvetto, laying the groundwork for future editions of the festival.
