Edition 2025 — Quaquare Festival
The 2025 edition of the Quaquare Festival marked an important milestone for Genola and its signature pastry. On Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM on Via Roma, the first edition of "La Via dei Dolci" was inaugurated, during which the quaquara was officially awarded the De.Co. (Municipal Denomination) label, a recognition certifying its origin and quality.
As per tradition, the festival was linked to the devotion to San Marziano, the patron saint of Genola celebrated on the third Sunday of May, with a solemn mass and a procession. The traditional biscuit, baked in the municipal oven by Pro Loco volunteers, was once again the common thread of an event that combines gastronomy, faith, and community in the town of the Cuneo plains.
