In 2025, Castelmezzano celebrated the Quagliata Festival on the first Sunday of May, dedicated to the typical fresh curdled cheese of the Lucanian pastoral tradition, with tastings and a popular festival amidst the Lucanian Dolomites.
The 2025 edition of the Quagliata Festival renewed the spring appointment with the fresh cheese that symbolizes the pastoral tradition of Castelmezzano.
