Edition 2025 — Quadraro in Luce

The inaugural edition of «Quadraro in Luce – The Italian Cinema You Haven't Seen» began in April 2025, launching the Stone Head A.P.S. festival in the Quadraro district, Rome. Supported by the «Roma tutto l'anno» call by Roma Capitale, the initiative offered a series of free screenings of rare Italian cinema, with a particular focus on films linked to the Roman suburbs and nearby Cinecittà.

The first edition

Starting in April 2025, the «Quadraro in Luce» festival brought a cycle of screenings dedicated to lesser-known Italian cinema to the Quadraro district of Rome for the first time. The project, curated by the Stone Head A.P.S. association and supported by the Municipality of Roma Capitale through the «Roma tutto l'anno» grant, aimed to enhance the history of the territory, which has always been linked to the world of cinema due to its proximity to Cinecittà.

The evenings, with free admission, combined film screenings with moments of meeting the Municipio VII community, confirming the participatory vocation of the initiative in the Lazio region.
