Punta Longa Fishing Village Festival

The 2025 Punta Longa Fishing Village Festival took place in early September in the fishing village of Favignana, in the Aegadian Islands. This edition confirmed the dual nature of the event: on one hand, maritime tradition, with the Tuna Festival, the fishing community celebration, and religious moments dedicated to the Madonna del Borgo; on the other, a strong environmental commitment, with meetings dedicated to the sea and sustainability.

Among the highlights of the edition, the meeting "The Thousand Faces of the Environment" featured the participation of journalist Maria Luisa Cocozza from Tg5 and the program "L'Arca di Noè", confirming the village's focus on protecting the Aegadian Islands Marine Protected Area. The festival, which was free and supported by the Municipality of Favignana, attracted residents and visitors in an authentic and familiar atmosphere.
