About Puglia and Flavors of the South

For a weekend, Via XXV Aprile in Segrate is dressed in the colors and scents of the South. Puglia and Flavors of the South is the food and wine festival dedicated to the traditions of Southern Italy: Puglian street food, typical products, regional wines and beers, live music and traditional dances. Between mozzarella demonstrations and pizzica workshops, a celebration that brings all the warmth and flavors of Puglia to the gates of Milan.

Puglia and Flavors of the South is the food and wine festival that every year transforms Via XXV Aprile, in the Municipality of Segrate, in the Province of Milan, into a corner of the South. For a weekend, the street is adorned with colors and decorations that evoke Puglian and Southern culture, welcoming visitors in search of authentic flavors.

What to eat

The absolute protagonist is the street food of the South. Among the stands you will find:

  • Puglian and Southern specialties, sweet and savory;
  • an area with tables and stalls dedicated to typical products;
  • regional wines and beers from Southern Italy.

Not just gastronomy

The festival is also about entertainment and tradition. The program includes:

  • mozzarella demonstrations and cooking shows on orecchiette and taralli;
  • pizzica workshops and dancing with the tambourine;
  • live music and themed games.

Organized by Tipico Eventi, with free admission, the festival is an opportunity to discover the culture of Southern Italy without leaving Segrate: between the warmth of Puglian hospitality and the flavors of the South, a celebration that attracts families and lovers of good food from all over the area.
