Edition 2025 — Puccini e la sua Lucca

Throughout 2025, the festival maintained its status as the world's only permanent festival, with an opera concert every evening at 7:00 PM in the Church of San Giovanni e Reparata in Lucca. Soloists and piano presented arias and duets by Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, and the Neapolitan tradition, with different programs every night.

The 2025 edition of Puccini e la sua Lucca confirmed the extraordinary continuity of the festival in the hometown of Giacomo Puccini. Every evening of the year, at 7:00 PM, the Church of San Giovanni e Reparata hosted an opera concert with two soloists and piano. The weekly calendar, organized by themes (from Puccini and Mozart to Puccini and Verdi, from the Italian Opera Recital to Puccini's Women), accompanied visitors to Lucca and Tuscany throughout the year, complemented by grand symphonic galas with orchestra and choir.
