Edition 2025 — Puccia Festival
The 2025 edition
The 2025 Puccia Festival took place in Cocumola (Minervino di Lecce) on September 9, effectively opening the festive period dedicated to the Madonna dell'Uragano. The village was filled with visitors drawn by the scent of freshly filled bread.
The star was the Salento puccia, served in numerous variations: with grilled vegetables, typical cheeses and cured meats, pickles, meatballs in sauce, and tuna with capers and sun-dried tomatoes, as well as vegetarian options. Accompanying the tastings were Salento wine and craft beer.
The festival was enriched by folk music and pizzica, folk performances, an artisan market featuring local products, and entertainment, in a convivial atmosphere that lasted until late at night.
