Edition 2025 — Puccia Festival

The 2025 edition of the Puccia Festival took place in Ugento on July 22, confirming the summer appointment dedicated to the traditional Salento bread. In the historic center, food stalls offered the puccia with Leccese olives and its stuffed variations, along with pittule, maritati, and spumone, while live music enlivened the evening until late at night, drawing residents and tourists to the heart of Salento.

The 2025 Puccia Festival renewed the tradition of the celebration dedicated to bread with Leccese olives in Ugento. On July 22, the town's historic center, in the province of Lecce, hosted food stalls featuring the puccia in its numerous variations and other specialties of Salento peasant cuisine.

Between pittule, pezzetti di cavallo, maritati al sugo, and spumone, the evening was accompanied by local folk music, in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality that confirmed the event as one of the most appreciated of the Ugento summer.
