Edition 2025 — Prolocando

The third edition of Prolocando took place from August 4th to 11th, 2025, in Piazza San Rocco, Sambuceto, San Giovanni Teatino. Eight local Pro Loco associations animated the square with over 50 Abruzzese culinary specialties, while concerts and tribute bands dedicated to Italian music performed every evening from 7:30 PM. Free admission and high public participation for a week of celebration.

Prolocando 2025, the third edition

From August 4th to 11th, 2025, Piazza San Rocco in Sambuceto returned to being the vibrant heart of the summer in San Giovanni Teatino with the third edition of Prolocando. The Pro Loco associations of Ari, Cepagatti, Città Sant'Angelo, Civitella e Vestea, Montesilvano, Rosciano, Tollo, and San Giovanni Teatino set up their stands with over 50 traditional Abruzzese specialties, from arrosticini to porchetta, and from pallotte cacio e ova to caciocavallo impiccato.

Musical evenings

Every evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the stage hosted concerts and tribute bands: from tributes to Ligabue and Antonello Venditti to evenings dedicated to Cesare Cremonini and 883, as well as concerts by historic bands and dance orchestras. A week of music, good food, and conviviality that confirmed Prolocando as one of the most anticipated events of the summer in the province of Chieti.

August 4th: Jovanotti tribute band. August 5th: Ligabue tribute. August 6th: Antonello Venditti tribute. August 7th: 90s night. August 8th: I New Trolls concert. August 9th: Orchestra and dance. August 10th: Cesare Cremonini and Lunapop tribute. August 11th: 883 and Max Pezzali tribute. Every evening from 7:30 PM: Pro Loco food stands.
