Profumo di Zagara

The fifth edition of Profumo di Zagara was held in Carruba, between the municipalities of Giarre and Riposto, from June 18 to 22, 2025. For five days, the village celebrated the Etna PGI Lemon and the many traditional products derived from it, amidst the sweet scent of orange blossoms.

The program offered conferences and exhibitions, dance and theater performances, tasting experiences, musical displays, stands with typical artisanal products, experiential workshops, show cooking, guided tours, and folk performances. To close the event, as per tradition, the awards ceremony for the "A Scocca" competition took place, reserved for the largest, most beautiful, and most abundant cluster of lemons, a symbol of Carruba's agricultural identity.
