Profumo di Zagara

Profumo di Zagara is the event that, every year at the beginning of summer, brings the center of Mazzarrà Sant'Andrea, in the Province of Messina, to life. The festival was created to tell the story of the town's nursery vocation, which has been exporting plants and citrus fruits throughout Italy since the 18th century, and to enhance the local food and wine excellence.

In Piazza Umberto I, food stalls with local products, tastings, and musical performances alternate. An appointment promoted by the Municipality with the support of the Sicilian Region, dedicated to the community and visitors who want to discover the culture of greenery in the heart of the Messina province.
