Edition 2025 — Profumo di Cedro
The 2025 edition of Profumo di Cedro, the fifth, marked a step up by transforming into the First International Cup. From September 5th to 7th, in the Berriat sports area in Montjovet, ten of the world's best sculptors—six foreigners and four Italians, from Italy, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Spain—competed with chainsaws. The theme, chosen by the Municipality, was the Via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome, with the artworks intended to be placed along the section crossing the territory of Montjovet. The competition, part of the Festa Patronale, featured speed carving, the official competition, and Sunday awards, confirming its status as an international event for the Aosta Valley.
