Edition 2025 — Procession of the Mysteries

Good Friday 2025, celebrated on April 18, saw a large turnout for the Procession of the Mysteries of Foggia. Thousands of faithful and curious onlookers crowded the streets of the historic center to follow the city's Via Crucis and the traditional, poignant encounter between the Addolorata and the dead Christ in Piazza XX Settembre.

The 2025 edition of the Procession of the Mysteries took place on Friday, April 18, 2025, with a particularly large turnout. The day began with the celebration of the Passion in the Cathedral, followed in the afternoon by the city's Via Crucis and the procession of the six statues of the Mysteries along a renewed route in the historic center.

Thousands of people accompanied the procession to Piazza XX Settembre, where, after the Archbishop's message, the most anticipated moment was renewed: the encounter between the Addolorata and the dead Christ. A rite that, once again, confirmed the deep bond between popular devotion and the cultural identity of the city of Foggia.
