Edition 2025 — Procession of the Mount

In 2025, the Procession of the Mount renewed in Triora the secular rite born from the vow of 1756: the statue of Our Lady of Mercy carried on shoulders to Mount Forcarum, with the Confraternity of the Good Death and the blessing of the fields in the upper Argentina valley.

The 2025 edition of the Procession of the Mount confirmed the strength of a tradition that in Triora has been renewed for over two and a half centuries. The statue of Our Lady of Mercy, carried in turns by eight men, reached Mount Forcarum along the demanding mountain path.

Accompanied by the penitents of the Confraternity of the Good Death, the procession concluded with the blessing of the fields, perpetuating the meaning of the 1756 vow in the upper Argentina valley.
