Procession of the Malghe and Goat Palio

The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, September 21, in the historic center of Mendatica. The day began at 9:30 AM with the producers' and artisans' market in Piazza della Chiesa, the opening of local museums, and digital experiences dedicated to the area (from virtual flights over Mendatica to MTB and canoeing activities).

At 12:30 PM, the Pro Loco's food stands opened, offering Cucina Bianca, a tradition from the lands around Monte Saccarello. In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, the Historical Procession of the Malghe re-enacted the ancient transhumant pastoral civilization with costumed participants, accompanied by the flag-throwers of Ventimiglia, and concluded with the Goat Palio. The event was held under the patronage of the Liguria Region and the Regional Natural Park of the Ligurian Alps.
