Edition 2025 — Procession of the Dead Christ

In 2025, the Procession of the Dead Christ took place in Tolentino on Friday, April 18th, Good Friday. The solemn procession started at 8:30 PM from the Co-Cathedral of San Catervo, winding through the streets of the historic center with the participation of confraternities, sacconi, the band, and civil and religious authorities, culminating in a stop in Piazza della Libertà for a blessing.

The 2025 edition of the Good Friday Procession in Tolentino was held on Friday, April 18, 2025. The evening procession started at 8:30 PM from the Co-Cathedral of San Catervo and followed viale Cesare Battisti, corso Garibaldi, via Roma, viale Buozzi, and adjacent streets, with the usual stop in Piazza della Libertà for a blessing before returning.

As every year, the Pia Unione del Cristo Morto e Beata Vergine Addolorata organized the procession and the celebrations related to the Passion of Christ, confirming a tradition deeply rooted in the community of Tolentino and the Province of Macerata.
