Edition 2025 — Dead Christ Procession
2025 Edition
The Procession of the Dead Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows was held on Friday, April 18, 2025, departing at 7:30 PM from the Church of San Giacomo in Gaeta, in the province of Latina.
The procession traveled along Via Indipendenza, Corso Cavour, Via Mazzini, and the Station area, then reached the Lungomare Caboto and Via Nettuno, finally returning to the starting church around 9:00 PM. As is tradition, the organization was handled by the parish together with local confraternities and pallbearers.
In 2025, the rite once again confirmed its nature as a defining event for the entire Gaeta community, capable of uniting faith, memory, and a sense of belonging in the silence of the city center streets.
