Procession of Saint Francis of Paola (lu Santu Patri)

The 2025 edition of the Saint Francis of Paola festival in Alcamo was celebrated on the second Sunday after Easter, at the beginning of May. Despite the bad weather — local reports recall a procession held in the rain — the faithful followed the statue of the "Santu Patri" along the streets of the historic center, confirming the strength of a devotion that resists all difficulties.

In 2025, the Saint Francis of Paola Parish also organized the festivities, with the traditional market stalls and festive lights enlivening the parish district of Alcamo. The festival confirmed its role as an identity-defining appointment for the town near Trapani.
