Procession of Maria SS. Assunta in Guadagna

The 2025 festival was celebrated on Sunday, August 24, in the Guadagna district of Palermo, organized by the Confraternity of Maria SS. Assunta. The long and well-attended procession of the Madonna's statue passed through the streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by the devotion of numerous families who decorated their balconies with tablecloths, flowers, and lights.

The processional route, endless and widely followed, concluded late at night with the return of the statue to the church of Maria SS. delle Grazie, greeted by a splendid fireworks display, one of the most important in the city. The 2025 edition was also documented by high-definition video footage, a testament to the vitality of this neighborhood tradition.
