Edition 2025 — Primiero Carnival
The 2025 edition of the Primiero Carnival featured the "Carnival of Wonders", inspired by Alice in Wonderland, with a parade of masks and animated floats on Shrove Tuesday in Fiera di Primiero. In San Martino di Castrozza, the seventh edition of the San Martino Death Race took place—a colorful parallel slalom race with costumed ski instructors at Prà delle Nasse—while the Carneval Almerol enlivened Imer with a fashion show through the village streets.
Carnival of Wonders 2025
The 2025 edition of the Primiero Carnival took place between late February and early March, with events spread across San Martino di Castrozza, Fiera di Primiero, and Imer.
- February 27 – seventh edition of the San Martino Death Race, a parallel slalom race with costumed Ski School instructors at Prà delle Nasse, featuring music by DoloMeo Dj.
- March 1-4 – Carnival of Wonders in Fiera di Primiero: face painting, bouncy castles, and the Shrove Tuesday parade with masks and animated floats dedicated to Alice in Wonderland.
- March 4 – Carneval Almerol in Imer, with a fashion show through the village streets, and the traditional Bonfire of the Vecia with a torchlight procession by ski instructors at Prà delle Nasse.
A colorful and well-attended edition that combined the carnival traditions of Primiero with the sporting spirit of the Dolomites.
