Edition 2025 — Prickly Pear Festival

In 2025, Capo d'Orlando once again hosted the Prickly Pear Festival, included in the Pro Loco's event calendar and held in mid-October, close to the celebrations for Maria Santissima. In Piazza Matteotti, the gastronomic village offered free tastings of San Cono prickly pears along with local products, accompanied by music and entertainment.

Prickly Pear Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Prickly Pear Festival took place in Capo d'Orlando in October, confirming a well-established appointment in the Pro Loco autumn calendar. In Piazza Matteotti, a taste village was set up with the free distribution of prickly pears from producers in San Cono, accompanied by typical products and local sweets.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco with the Municipality and the "Merendino" Hotel Management Institute, was held in the days leading up to the patronal feast of Maria Santissima of Capo d'Orlando, featuring musical and folk performances that enlivened the city center.
