Premio Trio di Trieste

In its previous editions, the Premio Trio di Trieste has confirmed its role as a benchmark event for international chamber music. Open to piano and string duos, trios, and quartets, the competition has attracted young ensembles from all over the world to the city, challenging them in front of a jury of renowned musicians and educators.

As is tradition, the auditions took place between the Tartini Conservatory and the Miela Theatre, culminating in the Winners' Concert recorded by RAI. The prestige of the past winners has helped launch numerous emerging chamber ensembles into international concert careers.
