Premio Il Gozzo 2025: twenty editions

The twentieth edition of the Premio Il Gozzo – City of Monopoli was held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Cala Batteria, celebrating twenty years of the event. The evening was hosted by patron Gianni Tanzariello, accompanied by patroness Flora Canto.

Awards were presented to: Mirko Cazzato (Excellent Youth, committed to fighting bullying with the MaBasta! project), the Pino Pascali Foundation (Culture), Luciana Delle Donne (Women's Generation, creator of Made in Carcere), Mimmo Muolo (Information, deputy editor of Avvenire), Primo Reggiani (Entertainment), and Paolo Morga (City Award, founder of Allegra Brigata and Spazio12).

Entertainment was provided by the Walter Tommasino Big Band, conducted by Maestro Leonardo Lozupone, and the comedy of Max Pisu, a historical face of Zelig. The event was organized by Canale 7 with the support of the Municipality of Monopoli, the Puglia Region, and the Southern Adriatic Sea Port Authority.
