Flavours, art and traditions at the foot of the Treviso Prealps
Prealpi in Festa – Sapori, Arte e Tradizioni is the event that enlivens Cordignano, in the province of Treviso, at the foot of the Prealps, every November. Founded in the 1990s and organised by the Pro Loco of Cordignano, it has established itself as one of the most cherished autumn events in the region, successfully blending food and wine, culture, and art.
The artistic heart of the festival is the National Wood Sculpture Symposium, which brings sculptors from various Italian regions to Cordignano. The artists work in public in the town centre, transforming logs into works of art on freely chosen themes: a true open-air art gallery that the public can follow step by step.
Alongside the art, the event features food and wine stalls with local producers and restaurateurs, the "Piero Della Valentina" National Painting Prize, cultural exhibitions, musical performances, and folk events. The final weekend transforms the piazza with over 150 exhibitors and numerous displays.
Prealpi in Festa is much more than a local festival (sagra): it is the celebration that tells the story of Cordignano and the Treviso Prealps, blending agricultural tradition, craftsmanship, and contemporary creativity.
The 2026 edition of Prealpi in Festa is scheduled for November in Cordignano, in keeping with tradition which places it around the second Sunday of the month. The event will reprise its proven formula: five days featuring the National Wood Sculpture Symposium, food and wine stalls from local producers, the "Piero Della Valentina" National Painting Prize, cultural exhibitions, music, and the grand final weekend with over 150 exhibitors.
The precise dates and detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Pro Loco of Cordignano closer to the event.
