Prata Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Carnival in Prata di Principato Ultra, in the province of Avellino, was held on Sunday, March 2 and Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with departure at 2:00 PM from Piazza P. Freda.

As per tradition, the program centered on the parade of allegorical floats, created by local groups, and the participation of masked revelers of all ages. Two afternoons dedicated to togetherness, with music and dancing along the town streets, involving families, children, and visitors from neighboring towns.

The event was included in the regional calendar of Campania carnivals, alongside the historic events of Irpinia, and served as a prelude to the following edition, which returned to the more traditional mid-February dates in 2026.
