Pralibro — Prali Book Festival

The 2025 edition of Pralibro, hosted as always in the Waldensian Temple of Prali, in the Province of Turin, confirmed the formula that made the festival famous in the Waldensian Valleys: reading together, in groups and in communities. The program intertwined book presentations, debates on culture and current affairs, read-alouds, musical recitals, and a bookcrossing initiative hosted in the village's communal oven.

Among the guests of the edition were Chiara Faggiolani with the volume Libri insieme. Viaggio nelle nuove comunità della conoscenza, publisher Giuseppe Laterza, Mauro Belcastro, and writer Andrej Longo in a musical recital together with guitarist Miguel Acosta. The topics addressed ranged from the history of Protestantism to mountain stories, from climate change to international conflicts. Organized by booksellers Rocco Pinto and Sara Platone with the Waldensian community of Prali, the 2025 festival was also entirely free to attend.
