Praemium Sancti Martini – Palio medievale di Vigo di Cadore

The 2025 edition of the Praemium Sancti Martini brought the atmosphere of medieval Cadore back to life in Vigo di Cadore. For the first weekend of September, the historic centre transformed into a village from 1345, with encampments, a medieval market, and costume parades.

The Palio di San Martino, contested between the villages of Vigo, Laggio, Pelòs, Lozzo, and Lorenzago di Cadore, was the highlight of the event, accompanied by the sound of drums and bagpipes and demonstrations of ancient crafts, curated by the Associazione Praemium Sancti Martini.
