Prader Almabtrieb 2025
The 2025 edition was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Prato allo Stelvio (Prad am Stilfserjoch), in the Vinschgau Valley. The festival began at 10:00 AM with the Frühschoppen, the morning aperitif enlivened by folk music. The most awaited moment was the arrival of the livestock, adorned with floral crowns and cowbells, which descended from the Prader Alm to the Kleinen Mösel meadows around 1:30 PM.
The Bauernjugend Prad provided food, drinks, and entertainment throughout the day, with performances by the Schuhplattler Prad and live music in the marquee starting from 6:00 PM. A day dedicated to South Tyrolean farming tradition and village conviviality.
