Edition 2025 — Frittella Festival

In 2025, the hamlet of Pozzo once again hosted the Frittella Festival in July, featuring traditional sweet fritters, Umbrian cuisine dishes — gnocchi with goose sauce, strangozzi with truffle, wild boar, and sausages — and dancing evenings animated by orchestras, among the olive groves of the Gualdo area.

The 2025 edition confirmed the Pozzo Frittella Festival as one of the most beloved gastronomic events of the Gualdo summer. Among the olive groves of the hamlet of Gualdo Cattaneo, the stands offered the sweet fritters from the traditional recipe alongside the classics of Umbrian cuisine — gnocchi with goose sauce, strangozzi with truffle, wild boar, and sausages — accompanied by local wines. Every evening, orchestras livened up the dancing evenings, attracting families and visitors from all over the region.
