Poviglio Carnival

In 2025, Carnival returned to animate the historic center of Poviglio, in the province of Reggio Emilia, with the festival set up in Piazza Umberto I. This was the edition that brought the event back to the heart of the town, laying the groundwork for its confirmation the following year.

The afternoon, mainly dedicated to the little ones, offered entertainment, games, and themed attractions, with the usual award ceremony for the most beautiful and imaginative masks. To complete the day, refreshment stands in the square offered sweet and savory specialties of the Emilian Carnival tradition, in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality that involved families and citizens of the Bassa Reggiana.
