Edition 2025 — Potenza Folk Festival
The 2025 edition of the Potenza Folk Festival was held from May 26th to 28th in Piazza Mario Pagano, confirming the formula of free folk and popular music evenings. Among the performers were the Tarantolati di Tricarico, who celebrated their 50th anniversary, and Rumba De Bodas, a young band from Bologna blending ska, funk, and Afro-Latin sounds.
In 2025, the festival was also part of the San Gerardo festivities, alongside the return of the "Pranzo dei Portatori" (Lunch of the Bearers) and the Storica Parata dei Turchi, reaffirming the link between popular music and Potenza's patronal tradition.
