Edition 2025 — Potato Festival

In July 2025, the Potato Festival once again enlivened the summer in Parabita, in the heart of Salento. For two evenings, food stalls offered potatoes in numerous traditional recipes — from baked to fried potatoes, from mashed to gnocchi with sauce — accompanied by live music and Salento folk dances, in a convivial and free-admission festive atmosphere.

2025 Potato Festival

The 2025 edition of the Parabita Potato Festival (Lecce) took place in mid-July, confirming the tried-and-tested formula of the Salento village festival. Food stalls offered the potato in all its versions — baked, fried, mashed, in gnocchi with sauce, and in traditional peasant soups — offering visitors a journey of simple and genuine taste.

The evenings were accompanied by live music and folk dances of Salento, involving families and visitors. The event, with free admission, was one of the most appreciated highlights of the Parabita summer.
