Potato Festival

The 11th edition of the Potato Festival was held in Vasto on August 13th and 14th, 2025, on Via Carlo Maria Martini, in the area in front of the Santa Maria del Sabato Santo Church, with stands open from 8:00 PM.

The main menu, costing 16 euros, included potato gnocchi with lamb sauce, sausage with potatoes, stuffed potatoes, a side dish, and a choice of water or wine. Alongside the festival dish, the food stands offered scrippelle, panzerotti, French fries, porchetta sandwiches, and arrosticini. The two evenings, organized by the Santa Maria del Sabato Santo Parish with the patronage of the Municipality of Vasto, were enlivened by music, entertainment, and dancing in the square, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved popular events of the Vasto summer.
