Potato Festival (Festa della Patata)

Fourth edition: the leap to two days

With the edition held on October 11th and 12th, 2025, the Potato Festival of Filettino, in the province of Frosinone, doubled its duration compared to the first three editions, which were all concentrated into a single day. The stalls set up along the village streets offered gnocchi, rustic pizzas, fried potatoes, potato stew, and pasta with potatoes and provola, accompanied by honey, local truffles, caciocavallo, cream-filled pastries, crêpes, and local drinks.

The event, coordinated by the Associazione Culturale Costis Ardua with the collaboration of numerous volunteers, residents, and merchants, recorded thousands of visitors. The mild weather encouraged many to combine the festival with a walk in the woods of the Monti Simbruini Regional Natural Park. The closing was entrusted, as per tradition, to the election of Miss Patatina and Miss Patatona.
