Edition 2025 — Portobeseno

The 2025 edition of the Portobeseno Festival, titled "Un Suono Lungo un Giorno" (A Sound as Long as a Day), took place on Saturday, September 6, at Castel Beseno in Besenello, celebrating over twenty years of cultural and sound activity in Trentino. From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, a twelve-hour sound marathon featured nine musicians making the fortress resonate with solo and collective sets, in a crescendo of electroacoustic music and soundscapes that turned the castle into a space of acoustic propagation.

Un Suono Lungo un Giorno

The 2025 edition of the Portobeseno Festival was held on September 6 at Castel Beseno, in Besenello (Trentino), under the title "Un Suono Lungo un Giorno". A twelve-hour sound marathon, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, celebrated over twenty years of the festival's history.

Nine musicians—including Emilio Galante, Roberto Laneri, Tiziano Popoli, and Walter Zanetti—made the fortress walls resonate with solo and collective performances, in a crescendo that transformed Castel Beseno into a place of acoustic propagation. Through sound installations, immersive performances, and listening moments, the festival reaffirmed its identity as a participatory process that weaves music, history, and landscape in the heart of Trentino.
