Popular Sacred Representation of the Passion of Christ at Bura

The XXI edition of the Passion of Christ at Bura was held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the countryside of Tolentino, in the province of Macerata. This edition saw a record number of participants among the performers, over two hundred and forty, and attracted more than a thousand spectators along the itinerant route through the hills of Contrada Bura.

As per tradition, the representation was organized by the Associazione Don Primo Minnoni 1967 APS with direction by Ada Borgiani, and took place under the patronage of the Municipality of Tolentino and the Mountain Union of the Blue Mountains. The CAI of San Severino Marche also participated with an excursion to the hills this year. The performance, with its strong emotional impact, confirmed the Passion at Bura as one of the most evocative events of Holy Week in the territory of the Blue Mountains.
