Popolando 2025: The fourth edition

From August 17 to 20, 2025, Borgo San Lazzaro, in Persano (Municipality of Serre, Salerno), hosted the fourth edition of Popolando, extended to four evenings for the first time. The event, curated by the Borgo San Lazzaro Festival Committee, took place as always during the festivities for the Madonna delle Grazie and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with free-entry concerts starting at 10:00 PM.

The program featured roaming folk dances by Bellizzica and a concert by Sibbenga Sunamo on August 17; the evening of the 18th with Tammorrasia, a performance by the Olimpya dance school, and the traditional Canto a Maria; on August 19, Stany Roggiero & I Bottari della Cantica Popolare with the project 'E figlie 'e Masaniello; and finally, on August 20, the grand finale with Eugenio Bennato and the Musica dal Mondo tour. The evenings were hosted by journalist Maria Vita Della Monica and musician Gianfranco Villano. Food stalls with dishes inspired by local traditional cuisine were also present.
