Pontremoli Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Pontremoli Carnival upheld the carnival tradition of the Lunigiana village, in the Province of Massa-Carrara. The parade of allegorical floats and costumed groups traveled through the streets of the historic center, starting from Piazza Italia and ending in Piazza della Repubblica with games and entertainment dedicated to children.

The festival, with free admission, was organized by the Pro Loco of Pontremoli together with the Municipality of Pontremoli, with the collaboration of local merchants who offered snacks along the route. As every year, the event was part of the rich calendar of Lunigiana carnivals.
