Pontedera Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Pontedera Carnival, held on Saturday, March 1, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, marked the debut of the new "villages, street art, and community" format. The Mondocarnevale parades departed from Piazza Cavour, led by three decorated Piaggio Ape vehicles (including a Frozen-themed version) by artist Letizia Cucciarelli, followed by musicians and dancers from Africa, Latin America, and Europe.

Events included: workshops and games for children by Arciragazzi, performances by the Chez Nous le Cirque circus school, a reading corner by the Gronchi Library, storytellers Felice and Celina with "Storie da fiera", the Il Teatro del Fantastico company with "Equilibri di coppia" in Piazza Curtatone, and a live set by Giovanni Fiderio. A "Mask your Vespa" workshop for children was also held at the Piaggio Museum.

• 3:30 PM — Piazza Cavour: Workshops and games for children (Arciragazzi), performances by the Chez Nous le Cirque circus school, reading corner by the Gronchi Library.
• 3:30 PM — First Mondocarnevale parade from Piazza Cavour, led by decorated Piaggio Ape vehicles, with international musicians and dancers, Rufino the clown, and the Il Teatro del Fantastico company.
• 4:00 PM — Ex Magazzini Chiarugi: Storytellers Felice and Celina with "Storie da fiera".
• 5:00 PM — Second Mondocarnevale parade from Piazza Cavour.
• 5:45 PM — Piazza Curtatone: Il Teatro del Fantastico with "Equilibri di coppia".
• 6:00 PM — Piazza Cavour: "Snow Show" with the Ice Princess and the Frozen-themed Ape.
• 6:30 PM — Piazza Curtatone: Giovanni Fiderio with the live set "Gonghi".
