Edition 2025 — Polis Jazz Festival
The 5th edition of the Polis Jazz Festival took place from July 23 to 27, 2025, in Piazza SS. Trinità in Polizzi Generosa. Five evenings of music with a program that alternated between young talent, auteur recitals, and great international jazz voices, confirming the festival as one of the most anticipated events of the Madonie summer in the province of Palermo.
Polis Jazz Festival 2025 — 5th Edition
The fifth edition of the Polis Jazz Festival enlivened Polizzi Generosa from July 23 to 27, 2025, with concerts hosted in Piazza SS. Trinità. Five consecutive evenings marked the program promoted by the Municipality.
- Wednesday, July 23 — Polis Brass Talent, featuring students from the Polis Brass school in jazz, pop, soul, and rhythm and blues repertoires, accompanied by their teachers.
- Thursday, July 24 — Francesco Buzzurro Guitar Recital, one of the most well-known Sicilian guitarists internationally.
- Friday, July 25 — Anthony Strong and BYJO, with the voice of the British crooner accompanied by the Brass Youth Jazz Orchestra.
- Saturday, July 26 — Alessandro Laura Quartet, one of the most awarded young talents on the Sicilian jazz scene.
- Sunday, July 27 — Nick the Nightfly Septet, an internationally renowned musician and singer, artistic director of the Blue Note in Milan.
The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's vocation to combine big names in jazz with the promotion of young musicians in the heart of the Madonie Park.
