The first edition of the Polenta Festival

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Alvito hosted the first edition of the Polenta Festival, organized by the Pro Loco of Alvito in collaboration with the Municipality and the Chiosco Mequio. From 12:30 PM until late evening, the Terrazza dei Cappuccini came alive with food stands, music, and joy.

The star was polenta, served with pork rib sauce or plain, accompanied by fine local wine and mulled wine. There was no shortage of local products from the Comino Valley. In the afternoon, there was space for children's entertainment with a show dedicated to the little ones, curated by the Chiosco Mequio. Thanks to the heated gazebos, the festival took place sheltered from the winter cold, successfully inaugurating a new event in the calendar of Alvito's festivities.
