Edition 2025 — Red Potato Festival

The third edition of the Pizzoferrato Red Potato Festival took place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to midnight in the historic center of the Abruzzo village. A day that combined history, cuisine, and culture, with food stalls dedicated to the native red potato of the Middle Sangro, tastings of local products, live music, entertainment, games, and sports activities, as well as free guided tours of the village upon request.

2025 Edition

The third edition of the Red Potato Festival was held in Pizzoferrato on Saturday, August 30, 2025, enlivening the historic center from 10:00 AM until late at night. The event offered a rich program of tastings of the native red potato, prepared in all its variations, accompanied by typical food and wine products from the Middle and Upper Sangro.

There was no shortage of live music, entertainment, games, and sports activities, in a day that combined taste with the discovery of the territory. Visitors were offered, upon request, free guided tours through the alleys of the Abruzzo village, at the foot of the Majella.
