Pizzica te Focu

The 2025 edition of Pizzica te Focu took place as tradition dictates in the Ciro Menotti district of Gemini, a village of Ugento, in lower Salento. The evening brought pizzica and Salento folk music to the village streets, with dance circles open to residents and visitors and the unmistakable rhythm of tambourines.

As every year, the event was part of the rich summer calendar of the Municipality of Ugento, which includes food festivals and music nights that animate Gemini, Torre San Giovanni, Torre Mozza, and Lido Marini from June to September. A community celebration, free and outdoors, which confirmed Pizzica te Focu as one of the most authentic events of the Ugento summer.
