Pizz' Fritt' Festival (Immaculate Conception Feast)

An 8th of December of taste and tradition

The 2025 edition of the Pizz' Fritt' Festival took place on Monday, December 8, 2025, the day of the Immaculate Conception, as part of the "Troia City of Christmas" program promoted by the Municipality of Troia. The tasting of fried pizzas, prepared with organic wheat flour and extra virgin olive oil from the local hills, enlivened the evening starting at 8:00 PM in Piazza Episcopio, in the heart of the historic center.

The day was marked by numerous events: a theatrical tour on the history of Troia, the laying of the wreath at the Madonna, the Santa Claus House in Piazza San Giovanni XXIII, the "Stars in Choir" show, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. All of this was accompanied by the Solidarity Market in the historic center, with handicrafts, nativity scenes, and crochet work, testifying to the spirit of sharing that characterizes the festival.

Monday, December 8, 2025 — Feast of the Immaculate Conception in Troia

• From early morning — Solidarity Market in the historic center: craft stalls, Christmas decorations, nativity scenes, and crochet work
• 10:00 AM — Theatrical tour of the history of Troia (starting from the Church of San Basilio)
• 12:30 PM — Laying of the wreath at the Madonna (Largo Villa / Church of Sant'Anna)
• 6:00 PM — Santa Claus House (Piazza San Giovanni XXIII)
• 7:00 PM — Show under the tree and "Stars in Choir" (viale Regina Margherita)
• 8:00 PM — Fried Pizza Festival (Piazza Episcopio)
• 8:30 PM — Lighting of the Christmas Tree (Piazza Giovanni XXIII)
