The historic centre becomes a dining table
Piove da Gustare is the food and wine event that animates the historic centre of Piove di Sacco, in the province of Padua, every spring. From 10 am until evening, the streets around Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II become a grand culinary itinerary, with local eateries offering menus designed for the season.
Seasonal Flavours
The stars are the spring products of the region, starting with asparagus: risottos, tagliatelle, gnocchi, fish dishes, and grilled preparations showcase both Venetian tradition and creative interpretations. About fifteen restaurants, bars, and ice cream parlours in the centre participate in the event, alongside open shops and a market of local products and crafts.
Not just food
The day includes an area dedicated to children with wooden games and a grand tombola with prizes with a prize pool of up to €2,000: tickets are obtained for free with purchases made in the preceding days at the centre's shops, and the draw is held in the afternoon in the piazza. An event promoted by PioveShopping and local traders, designed to promote the local cuisine and commerce of the Saccisica area.

The 2026 edition of Piove da Gustare takes place on Sunday, April 19, in the historic centre of Piove di Sacco, starting at 10:00 am. Fourteen restaurants, bars, and ice cream parlours in the centre will offer seasonal menus, while the centre hosts open shops, a market, and a children's area.

- 5:00 pm — Grand Tombola with Prizes in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (prize pool up to €2,000)
